The Extrusion side of our business started almost 40 years ago at Three Cocks near Brecon. Since then, we have seen many changes in our business and product range and have reacted and invested accordingly. Within the department we have the flexibility of six extrusion lines, and our most recent investment was commissioned in August 2010. This enables us to supply a wide variety of the following substrates.
- Low density polythene and linear blends (LDPE and LLDPE)
- Medium density polythene (MDPE)
- Colours / Tints
- Degradable
- 100% biodegradable and compostable
- Micro-perforated
One of our greatest strengths is consistency in quality. This is achieved through a combination of many years of experience, from managers to operators on the shop floor, and the long-standing partnerships we have with our suppliers. At Alfaplas we manufacture to your needs - all formulas can be tailor-made to meet your specific requirements.
We are able to extrude film widths from 300mm to 1700mm in 21.5 to 125 micron, depending on film size and type. We can also fold or slit to smaller sizes. As well as the films we extrude, we offer a wide range of specialised films such as:

- Polyprop (CPP and OPP)
- Paper
- Metallised
- Specialised shrink
- Co-extruded (Co-Ex)
