BRC Global Standard for Packaging
Alfaplas has been formally certified against the “BRC Global Standard for Packaging & Packaging materials, Issue 5”. This certification was obtained via an independent external audit. We achieved the best grade possible, namely an “AA” grade.
The BRC packaging standard comprises two categories; Basic hygiene risk and High hygiene risk. We are certified against the “High hygiene risk category” which is the most demanding one.
Our BRC Certification provides reassurance that consistent high quality is maintained at all times. Furthermore, it demonstrates that our products are suitable for end-uses such as direct food contact packaging and hygiene-sensitive packaging.
Environmental
Both Alfaplas and our parent company, Sphere Group, are deeply concerned about the environment and the impact our group of companies may have on it. We have taken measures to ensure we comply with, and exceed, the requirements of environmental legislation. Alfaplas holds the highest level of BS:8555 and has every intention of exceeding this standard in the future. It is not simply a matter of compliance; we as a group play a proactive role in making our products more environmentally friendly. Further details available upon request.
